Answer
The Changing Face of Our City
By Gauri
From my bedroom window I can hardly recognise the city I knew five years ago. Green trees have been replaced by concrete buildings, wide roads are crowded with vehicles, and smoke hangs over the houses. Plastic waste blocks drains and dirty water collects near the footpaths. Children and older people struggle to breathe in the polluted air. Development is useful, but careless development is dangerous. We must protect trees, use public transport, control factory smoke and keep our neighbourhoods clean. If citizens and authorities act now, our city can become healthy and beautiful again. Otherwise, progress will leave us with an unhealthy future.
